Axel Van Lombeek
Axel Van Lombeek is Managing Director of MegaCharge, a role he has held since July 2022. He is based in Kortenberg.
From January 2019 to April 2023 he was Sustainable Development Manager at Encon NV - Energy Consultancy, Engineering, Contracting, overlapping with the start of his time at MegaCharge. Before that he spent from June 2018 to January 2019 at Schneider Electric as hybrid solutions manager, and from September 2014 to June 2018 he worked as an external sales engineer at the Endress+Hauser Group. Between September 2015 and September 2016 he carried out his master's thesis at La Lorraine Bakery Group NV, on improving the energy efficiency of the steam injection system at the industrial bakery.
He studied at KU Leuven, where he took a Master of Science in electromechanical engineering with a focus on intelligent mobility (2012 to 2013), having completed a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electromechanics, at the KU Leuven Group T Leuven Campus between 2007 and 2012.
