Babs Van De Mierop

Babs Van De Mierop is the CEO of labellov, based in Antwerp, a role she took up in July 2025.

She spent most of her career at Bain & Company, joining as an associate consultant in October 2017 and progressing through senior associate consultant, consultant and manager to senior manager by June 2023. She left in May 2024 to become country manager Belgium for the bloomon brand at Bloom & Wild, then returned to Bain & Company as a senior manager from November 2024 until July 2025. Earlier, in 2015, she completed an internship as a venture capital research analyst at Dealroom.co.

She studied business engineering at KU Leuven from 2012 to 2017, graduating magna cum laude, and spent 2011 to 2012 studying economics at Northwestern University and 2016 studying business at Stellenbosch University. She also studied at the Universidad de Sevilla.
