Bart Broothaerts

Bart Broothaerts is the founder of hubwatch, which he started in October 2022, and is based in Antwerp. He co-founded Cryptoventis Labs in October 2024, co-founded Troom in January 2020 and founded UNOVA in November 2018, and holds all three roles at present. Between May 2023 and February 2024 he was a co-founder of WaveMint.io.

His earlier ventures include Booze Booze Leuven, which he co-founded in October 2018 and left in February 2019, and Meet&Find, which he founded and ran through 2018. He worked at Bringme as a student data analyst in the summer of 2018, having spent the summer of 2016 in the company's finance department, and held a student real estate position at Xior Student Housing in 2015.

Broothaerts studied economic science at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2016 and a Master of Science in business economics with a focus on financial economics in 2018, with an exchange semester at the Università di Pavia in 2017. He then took a master's in innovation and entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School.
