Bart Chanet

Bart Chanet is a founder based in Gent, where he is founder at hylyght, a company he co-founded in January 2020. He has held several concurrent roles since 2018: co-founder of SportaMundi from April 2018, founder of ConstantBeta from October 2019, CTO of too-doo from December 2019 and CTO of YEATapp from August 2023.

Earlier, he was managing partner of Schip.gent between March 2016 and February 2021, and zaakvoerder at Rabia from March 2014 to March 2016. He co-founded DC-projects in July 2012 and remained until October 2019, and was captain at FloatingDesk from July 2011 to February 2018. At Adobe User Group Belgium he led finance and the Flash/Web special interest group from August 2009 before serving as co-manager until July 2015. He founded Dreams & Creations in September 2005, working there as new media director until October 2019, and in the same period trained, consulted and developed at multimediacollege, including freelance training work until June 2008.

Chanet studied multimedia and communication technologies at HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen from 2002 to 2005, and followed the KMO Challenge at Vlerick Business School in 2013.
