Bart Lauwereins is Oprichter of MediSelect.be --- Platform voor Freelance artsen.
Bart Lauwereins is an anaesthetist at Sint-Trudo Ziekenhuis, a post he has held since October 2020, and the founder of MediSelect.be, a platform for freelance doctors, which he started in April 2018. He is based in Heverlee.
He trained in anaesthesia at UZ Leuven from August 2013 to July 2015 and at ZOL from August 2015 to July 2017, returning to UZ Leuven as a fifth-year anaesthesia assistant from August 2017 to August 2018, with a period in the same capacity at Jessa ziekenhuis in January 2018. At ZOL he was a resident in intensive care from August 2018 to August 2019 and a resident in algology from September 2019 to September 2020.
He studied at KU Leuven from 2005 to 2013, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine in general medicine from the Faculty of Medicine.
