Bart Michiels
Bart Michiels is COO of AE, based in Leuven, a role he has held since June 2023. He states expertise in program management, P&L management, coaching, business architecture and operations management.
He has been with AE since September 2008, first as senior consultant and later as team manager, cluster lead for the Centrum region, principal consultant and director of operations, before taking up his current role. He has also been the owner of JUELS bvba since January 2018.
Between 2015 and 2017 he was project manager and then CEO of TradeRouter BV. At eni gas & power nv/sa he worked as an analyst on the IQE project and as IT project manager on the Allegro Vivace project, and at Belgian Post Group he was a functional analyst and then business analyst and project manager on the Invoice Reporter project.
He studied commercial engineering and holds a master in information management from KU Leuven, completed in 2008, and took a course in negotiating to create value at Vlerick Business School in 2014.
