Bart Thomas

Bart Thomas is based in Antwerp, where he is Business Owner Insurance at GIM - smart geo insights, a role he has held since March 2019. Since January 2019 he has also been a Belmap expert at the same company. He joined GIM - smart geo insights in July 2009 as Project Manager Earth Observation, then became Product Manager Geodata in April 2014 and Product Development Manager Geodata from February 2015 to December 2018.

Before that he spent close to seven years at NV Probabilitas, first as Assistant Project Engineer from December 2002 and then as Project Engineer from January 2005 until June 2009.

Thomas studied at KU Leuven, completing a Master in Electrical Engineering between 1996 and 2001 and a Master in Environmental Technology in 2002. He attended Sint-Romboutscollege from 1991 to 1996.
