Bart Vanbrabant

Bart Vanbrabant is co-founder and CTO of Inmanta, which he co-founded in January 2016, and is based in Leuven. Since August 2018 he has also been zaakvoerder of PAND7.

Before Inmanta he spent his research career at KU Leuven, where he was a post-doctoral researcher from July 2014 to January 2016 after completing a PhD there between August 2008 and June 2014. During that doctoral work he held an IWT specialisation grant across two terms, from January 2010 to December 2011 and from January 2012 to December 2013. Earlier he worked at KU Leuven as a software and hardware support technician from October 2004 to April 2006.

He was lead developer of eAccelerator from June 2005 to May 2011 and an administrator at ULYSSIS from September 2005 to March 2011.

Vanbrabant studied computer science engineering at KU Leuven from 2003 to 2008. He attended St-Jozefscollege Beringen from 1999 to 2003 and Mater Dei Overpelt from September 1997 to June 1999.
