Bart Vanhoutte

Bart Vanhoutte is a co-founder of myFaro, which he started in December 2016. He is based in Rotselaar.

Before that he spent more than thirteen years at EMC, joining in August 2003 as principal product manager and serving from May 2006 until December 2016 as senior director of presales. Between June 1998 and April 2003 he was founder and chief executive of MediaMine.

Earlier in his career he worked in banking, as a business analyst at J.P. Morgan from May 1995 to January 1998 and, before that, as a programmer and team leader at Morgan Guarantee Trust Company from September 1992 to May 1995. He began at IBM, where he was a support engineer between September 1990 and June 1991.

Vanhoutte studied information management at KUL, the Catholic University Leuven Belgium, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1989, and took a Master of Business Administration in information management and operations at Cornell University from 1991 to 1992.
