Ben Toogood

Ben Toogood is chief executive officer of invoX, a position he has held since January 2021, and is based in the United Kingdom. He has served on the board of Karolinska Development since February 2021 and joined the board of Jamjoom Pharma in July 2025. Between July 2021 and September 2024 he was a board member of pHion Therapeutics.

Before taking up the role at invoX, he was head of global business development and M&A for Sandoz at Novartis from August 2016 to December 2020. Earlier he was group new business development executive at Aspen Pharma Group, vice president of global business development at Pharmathen, worked in business development at Niche Generics Limited and in regulatory affairs at Merck Generics, and began his career in pharmaceutical manufacture at Pharma Natura in 1998.

He holds a BPharm from Rhodes University, an MSc from the University of the Witwatersrand, a diploma in regulatory affairs from Cardiff University and an executive MBA in management from the University of Cambridge.
