
Benoit Descamps is a co-founder of Kabandy, a role he has held since April 2016. He is based in Brussels.
Before that he was a researcher and entrepreneur at the Université libre de Bruxelles from October 2013 to April 2016, following a period as an FNRS Research Fellow at the same university between October 2009 and October 2013. During that time he spent the summer of 2012 as a visiting researcher at the Universidade de São Paulo. Earlier, he worked as a structural design consultant at Bureau Greisch in the first half of 2011 and as an architect at TEAU sprl in 2009.
Descamps studied Architectural Engineering at the Université libre de Bruxelles from 2004 to 2009 and completed a Doctor of Philosophy there in 2013. He went on to take the C&C - Solvay Entrepreneurs programme at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management in 2014 and 2015, and a Master Class in Investor Readiness at Antwerp Management School in 2015.
