Betty Salanic

Betty Salanic is the chief executive officer and founder of accelerate, based in New York City. She founded Accelerate Investors in 2019 and has led it since, and since January 2020 she has also hosted the firm's CIO Conversations podcast.

Before that she was an advisor to Kanarys, Inc. from 2018 to 2024, and from 2016 to 2018 she headed The Investors Group at a non-profit. In 2014 and 2015 she worked on private equity investments at Rice Management Company, Rice University, having spent 2012 to 2014 as an associate at New York Bay Capital and 2010 to 2011 as an investor relations associate at Root Capital. She began her career at J.P. Morgan, where she was a Latin America banking summer analyst in 2007 and a capital advisory analyst from 2008 to 2010, following a summer analyst position in FICC at Goldman Sachs in 2006.

Salanic holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in corporate communication from The University of Texas at Austin, and also studied at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Università Bocconi.
