
Birgen Meuleman
Birgen Meuleman is COO and Managing Partner at 2-bridge, a role she has held since February 2014, and is based in Antwerp. Since the same month she has also been owner and managing director of ELANDD bvba.
Before that she worked at Shire-Movetis, part of the Shire Group, as Associate Clinical Programs Director from June 2011 to May 2013. From February 2008 to June 2011 she was Lead Global Trial Manager and Clinical Trial Leader at Tibotec, part of the Johnson & Johnson Group. She spent five years at Harrison Clinical Research, joining as a Clinical Research Associate in February 2003 and working as a Project Manager from February 2005 to January 2008.
Earlier she was a scientific researcher at the Centre of Research and Conservation of the Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp and the University of Antwerp from September 1998 to 2002, and a guest scientist at the Deutches Primatenzentrum from 2000 to 2001. She studied biology at the University of Antwerp, gaining a master's degree in 1998, and also studied at RightManagement.
