
Bob Messiaen
Bob Messiaen is the owner of invisto, based in Izegem. He co-founded Invisto in March 2024, having previously worked as a C++/Qt consultant at OIP Sensor Systems from 2020 to 2024 and at PSI Control Mechatronics NV from 2018 to 2020. In 2018 he was lead software architect at Ghent University, and between 2015 and 2018 he worked as an embedded Linux developer at Xtralis.
Earlier in his career he held consulting software engineer and software architect roles at Bekaert from 2014 to 2015 and at Dana Holding Corporation from 2012 to 2014, and was a consulting software engineer at AW Europe during 2011 and at Cisco Systems from 2010 to 2011. He was a senior software designer at TASS Software Professionals from 2010 to 2014, and a software engineer at CMC nv from 2006 to 2010.
He studied industrieel ingenieur electronica at Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende from 2004 to 2006, and also attended VHTI. His stated areas of expertise are software development, human machine interface and user interface design.
