
Boris Rogge
Boris Rogge is the owner of metanous, based in Gavere. He has run Metanous since November 2002, working as business owner and software architect/consultant. Since June 2019 he has also been a partner at DORI. His stated areas of expertise are software development, artificial intelligence, insurance and business strategy.
Rogge held several roles at AGFA HealthCare, joining as a software developer in December 2005, working as a software architect from December 2007 and as a software architect/consultant from September 2010 until January 2018. In between he was a senior technical consultant and application architect at delaware BeLux from June 2009 to September 2010, and a software architect at SIGOS from March 2008 to June 2009. He co-founded sportavista.com in January 2006 and remained with it until January 2009. Earlier he was a software developer at Wincor Nixdorf from January 2003 to November 2005, and a researcher at Universiteit Gent from September 1998 to December 2002.
He studied computer sciences at Ghent University, completing a master's degree in 1998 and a Ph.D. in 2002. He attended Don Boscocollege Zwijnaarde, took a Certified Scrum Product Owner course at Innovel in 2008, and followed the KMO Excellence programme at Vlerick Business School in 2018 and 2019.
