Brecht Coghe

Brecht Coghe is the founder of Jointly, a company he started in October 2024. He is based in Gent. In May 2026 he also co-founded Math with Modus.

Coghe began his career in research, working as a PhD candidate and researcher at KU Leuven from September 2015 to May 2017. In July 2017 he joined ML6 as a machine learning engineer, becoming a senior machine learning engineer in August 2018 and squad lead in March 2019, remaining until December 2020. He then moved to Superlinear, where he was machine learning tech lead from January 2021, machine learning team lead from June 2021 and head of delivery from May 2022 until July 2024.

He studied engineering physics and applied physics at Ghent University, graduating with a Master of Science in 2014, and completed a master's degree in artificial intelligence at KU Leuven in 2015.
