Bryan Smaele

Bryan Smaele is co-founder and CTO of Kannika, a role he has held since August 2022. He is based in Ruiselede. Since February 2021 he has also been co-founder and CTO of Cymo.

Between July 2018 and July 2022 he was a cloud software architect at mateco IT. He joined Bayer Crop Science in February 2017 as a senior software engineer, a position he held until August 2018, and from January 2018 also served as technical lead engineer. Earlier, he spent more than five years at Volvo Group, where he worked as a software engineer from September 2011 to January 2017 and as an IT analyst from June 2016.

He studied information technology at KAHO Sint-Lieven, obtaining a bachelor's degree in 2011.
