Cagatay Yalcin is based in Amsterdam, where he is co-founder and chief technology officer of terra-reporting-esg-platform-microsoft-cloud-for-sustainabil. Since April 2021 he has also been at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as head of FI emerging market banks and SPC and as a coverage banker. He joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in June 2012 as a coverage banker for financial institutions and emerging market banks, and headed FI emerging market banks from November 2017 to March 2021. Before that he spent from April 2005 to June 2012 at Credit Europe Bank NV as vice president and unit manager in financial institutions, having begun his career at ING Bank A.S. as a corporate marketing specialist from 2001 to 2005.
He studied chemical engineering at Boğaziçi University from 1994 to 1999, took an MSc in capital markets and stock exchange at Marmara University, and completed an Executive MBA at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2011.
