Carlo Flebus is the chief technology officer of amos and is based in Liège. He has spent his career with the company since 1987, first as optical department manager until 1992, then as technical director and project manager at AMOS SA until 2006, and subsequently as deputy general manager and chief operating officer until 2016, when he took up his current role.
Before joining the company, he was a researcher in the geophysics and fluid dynamics department at the University of Liège and the CCE in Ispra, Italy, from 1984 to 1987, and a physicist in the optical detectors laboratory at ESO from 1981 to 1984.
He studied at the Université de Liège from 1976 to 1980, graduating with a master's degree in solid state physics avec Grande Distinction.
