Carole Guillonneau
Carole Guillonneau is a co-founder of AbolerIS Pharma, based in Nantes. She co-founded the company in November 2019 and has been its head of research since August 2023.
She has also been a director of research at the CNRS since October 2017, first at class 2 and then, from October 2021, at class 1. She joined the CNRS in 2009 as a chargé de recherche. Since June 2022 she has directed the FOCIS Center of Excellence at Nantes University for the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies.
She carried out her PhD at INSERM U437 between October 2002 and October 2005, having taken a master's degree in immunology at Nantes Université and a second master's in immunology at Université Paris Cité, which awarded her doctorate in immunology in 2005. From February 2006 to February 2009 she held a post-doctorate at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Melbourne University. She obtained her habilitation à diriger des recherches from Nantes Université in 2015 and completed the Entrepreneurs in Clinical Academia ECA-FOCIS programme at INSEAD in 2016.
