Cassandra Carey

Cassandra Carey is a co-founder of MoodMe, a role she has held since September 2025, and is based in Los Angeles. Since the same month she has also been an engineering manager at Articulate.

Earlier, she was an engineering manager at NexHealth from August 2022 to March 2023, and a senior software engineer at Datafold from June 2021 to February 2022. From October 2012 to June 2021 she worked at Leap Motion as a senior software engineer and tech lead, and from September 2019 to June 2021 she led the machine learning platform and infrastructure engineering team at Ultraleap.

Her earlier career was in games. She was certification technical coordinator at OnLive from March 2010 to August 2012, and before that held a localization and quality assurance role at Namco Bandai Games America, several compliance and quality assurance analyst positions at Electronic Arts between 2006 and 2009, and a format QA analyst role at Sony Computer Entertainment America. She attended UCSB from 2004 to 2005.
