Cecile Hustinx
Cecile Hustinx is co-founder and owner of re-banner, which she started in March 2021. She is based in Hoeselt, and states expertise in product design, the textile industry, project planning, sustainable design and the circular economy.
Before founding re-banner, she spent more than twelve years at Euro Shoe Unie as a buyer, from October 2008 to March 2021. She was category manager at Agri Retail from 2004 to 2008, and merchandiser at barron fashion from 2003 to 2004. Between 1999 and 2002 she was sales manager at Cakewalk Company BV. She worked for oilily as an account manager from 1990 to 1999, including a period from 1995 to 1998 as operations manager at oilily stores USA. She began her career as a buying assistant at fratelli Fashion in 1988.
Hustinx studied at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1984 to 1988, and earlier at Dominicus college nijmegen. She completed a course in the circular economy through edX in 2021 and a professional photography course at Qrios in 2020.
