
Cecile Marais is the co-founder and chief executive of Adrena, a company she co-founded in August 2003. She is based in Basse-Goulaine.
Before Adrena, she worked in the travel and airline sector. From December 1998 to January 2002 she was a ticketing counter agent at Sabena, having previously held an air fares position at Havas Voyages between April 1997 and October 1998. Earlier, she was a reservations agent at Sky Regional Airlines Inc. from May 1996 to February 1997, and began her career as a travel agent at Carlson Wagonlit Travel in the spring of 1996.
She studied at ESTHUA, Ecole superieure de tourisme et d'hotellerie d'Angers, where she took a licence in hotel and tourism management with a specialisation in public relations and communication in tourism and international affairs in 1994 and 1995. She had earlier completed a BTS in tourism and leisure at the Lycée Camille Saint Saens in Rouen, and a baccalauréat in mathematics and sciences at the Lycée Fenelon in Elbeuf.
