Charles-Eric Winandy

Charles-Eric Winandy is a co-founder and director of moveUP - digital therapies, a role he has held since November 2015. He is based in Brussels. Since May 2026 he has also been co-founder and chief commercial officer at Cascador / moveUP.

Before that he spent close to a decade at BNP Paribas Fortis, joining in September 2008 as a trader and structurer in equity derivatives, moving to fixed income trading in April 2011 and then, from April 2012 to March 2017, trading euro inflation and government bonds. He began his career at Accenture, where he worked as an analyst from October 2006 to September 2008.

Winandy studied engineering at the Université catholique de Louvain from 2001 to 2006 and took a master in création et gestion de PME there between 2003 and 2005, alongside an exchange programme in general engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2005. He completed an MBA at Vlerick Business School between 2014 and 2016.
