Charlotte Kjellander
Charlotte Kjellander is the chief executive officer of touchwaves, based in Eindhoven. She co-founded the company in January 2023 and has served as its managing director since then. Her stated areas of expertise are creativity and innovation, management, technical scientific research and entrepreneurship.
From September 2018 to December 2025 she was a senior scientist at Holst Centre/TNO, an organisation she had worked with earlier as a researcher from January 2008 to February 2013 and as a guest recruiter during 2009. Between September 2018 and February 2021 she was an employeneur at TMC. She joined Trespa in March 2013 as a polymer scientist and became lead scientist in April 2017, a position she held until August 2018. Before that she was a senior scientist at Philips Research from October 2006 to December 2007.
Kjellander completed a PhD in materials science at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2006 and stayed on there as a postdoctoral researcher. She studied chemical engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, including an exchange period at EPFL.
