Chris Peeters

Chris Peeters led Elia Group as CEO from 2015 until 30 October 2023, overseeing the group's expansion into Germany via 50Hertz, the launch of major interconnector projects including Nemo Link and ALEGrO, and the early build-out of offshore wind grid connections in the North Sea. After leaving Elia Group he was appointed CEO of bpost, succeeding the previous group leadership during a period of strategic reset at the postal operator.
