Daniel Cortild
Daniel Cortild is a co-founder of ILPlatform Bruxelles, where he has been managing director since September 2023. He is based in the United Kingdom.
He co-founded ILPlatform Bruxelles in December 2020 and served as its product manager until taking up the managing director role. He was a teaching assistant at the University of Groningen from September 2021 to April 2025, and held research internships at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center between June and August 2021 and at EDF between April and September 2024. Earlier, from June 2019 to May 2022, he taught programming at Techies Lab.
Cortild completed a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics at the University of Groningen between September 2023 and June 2025, and began a doctorate in mathematics at the University of Oxford in October 2025.
