Dave Geentjens

Dave Geentjens is Chief Executive Officer of Cingulum, a role he has held since June 2024, and is based in Brussels. His stated areas of expertise are general management, change management and information security management.

In February 2023 he founded Data & Technology Consulting Comm V, where he remained until September 2024. His assignments there included security advisor for netwerk Hiëronymus from May 2023, Tisax lead implementer for AGC Glass Europe from March to May 2024, and business manager security at Cranium from July to September 2024. From September 2022 to August 2024 he served as a board member of Psychiatrisch Centrum Sint-Hiëronymus and of Psychiatrisch Centrum Gent-Sleidinge vzw.

Earlier he was lead technical account manager at Digitaal Vlaanderen from September 2021 to April 2024, and programme manager digital workplace at the Vlaamse Overheid from 2017 to 2021, having previously worked in its policy support team for integrale jeugdhulp from 2009 to 2013 and as ICT project manager and policy advisor at Jongerenwelzijn from 2013 to 2017. He began his career as a family consultant at CKG Hulgenrode in 1996, then coordinated the project Rechtstreeks Toegankelijke Jeugdhulp within the Pilootproject Integrale Jeugdhulp from 2002 to 2004 and was a staff member at Regioteam IJH Antwerpen from 2004 to 2009.

He studied orthopedagogiek at VSPW Hasselt and holds a master's degree in social work from Ghent University.
