David Craeye

David Craeye is Chief Technology Officer at fishway, a role he took up in January 2023. He is based in Dendermonde.

Before joining fishway, Craeye spent thirteen years at ReGenesys BV, where he began as a scientist in January 2010, became a senior scientist in February 2012 and served as principal scientist from February 2014 until December 2022. He had previously worked at Galapagos, joining as an associate scientist in May 2006 and holding the position of scientist from October 2008 to January 2010. Earlier, from May 2003 to May 2005, he was a scientific staff member at Ghent University.

Craeye studied at Ghent University from 1997 to 2002, qualifying as a bio-engineer in cell and gene biotechnology.
