David Robben

David Robben is a co-founder of Legidex, which he started in November 2018. He is based in Hoeilaart.

He was a senior researcher at icometrix from November 2018 to July 2025, and held a research fellowship at KU Leuven from November 2018 to October 2022. He had previously been a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven from October 2016 to October 2018, following his time there as a PhD researcher between October 2012 and October 2016.

Robben studied at KU Leuven, where he completed a bachelor's degree in engineering: computer science from 2007 to 2010, a Master of Science in the same field from 2010 to 2012, and a PhD in electrical engineering from 2012 to 2016. In 2011 he took part in an exchange programme in computer science at EPFL. He attended secondary school at the Sint-Martinus scholen, in Latin and mathematics, from 2001 to 2007.
