David Van Der Looven

David Van Der Looven is a cofounder and shareholder of Edebex, based in Brussels. He cofounded the company in April 2013, serving as COO and head of back office and client relations until June 2015, then as cofounder, CCMO and administrator until December 2024, and has held his current role since January 2025. Since January 2025 he has also been a cofounder, board member and head of investor relations at Finrack. He has been owner and CEO of Sales Power since April 2009, and was owner of Ahead Consult from June 2012 to June 2025.

Earlier, he was head of investor relations for uFund at uMedia from 2009 to 2013, and a senior investment adviser at Motion Investment Group from 2007 to 2009. He was sales manager at Gastronomie Jeroen Storme Bvba and general manager at Motour TTT, and began his career at Winterthur-Europe Insurances as an account manager before becoming a financial advisor and sales manager at Credit Suisse Group (Winterthur-Europe Vie).

Between 2015 and 2018 he contributed to the Brussels-Brabant regional committee of LEAD-IN, and he sat on the board of vMA O&W-Vl from 2011 to 2014. He studied political sciences and international relations at Ghent University.
