Dufrane received his medical degree and doctorate in biomedical sciences from UCLouvain and was previously head of the Musculoskeletal Tissue Bank and Tissue/Cells Therapy Centre at Saint-Luc University Hospital in Brussels. He co-founded Novadip in 2013 and joined full-time in 2015. The company's 3M3 tissue regeneration platform uses adipose-derived stem cells, and has raised EUR 88 million in total funding including EUR 40 million in a 2022 round and a subsequent EIB venture debt tranche under InvestEU.
