Diedert Geysen

Diedert Geysen is chief executive officer of red-medical and is based in Beveren. He has been managing director of RED Medical since August 2023, and since August 2026 has also been general manager at Arthrex. His stated areas of expertise are medical devices, medtech, organisational leadership, change management and the pharmaceutical industry.

Between March 2020 and August 2023 he was managing director Belgium & Luxemburg at Stryker. He spent several years at Sandoz in a series of roles, joining as key account manager in August 2013 and going on to serve as marketing team manager, global marketing manager biopharma and head of biopharmaceuticals and hospital until March 2020.

Earlier, Geysen was product manager diabetes at Novo Nordisk A/S and marketing manager BeNeLux at Flen Pharma. He worked at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2007, first as a health care representative and then as product manager for neurology and for pneumology. He was a dive instructor with Ocean Encounters in Curaçao from 2006 to 2007, and began his career as a health care representative at Merck Sharp & Dohme in 2003.
