Diego Sanchez
Diego Sanchez is Chief Technology Officer at eddy, based in Leuven. He joined the company in June 2020 as a senior full stack engineer, became tech lead in September 2021 and took up his current role in June 2024.
Before eddy, he was technology manager at Lóbulo Media from July 2018 to June 2020, and research and development manager at Safety Club between March 2016 and June 2018. He was Chief Technology Officer of Heardbeats from December 2016 to January 2018, and lead developer at both Mixar.fm and Fizzar, S.p.A. Earlier he worked at Linkworks in QA and development, and co-founded Lemoony in March 2012, where he also worked as a developer. His first recorded role was a technical internship in electronics at INGEAP Ltda. in 2008.
Sanchez studied Ingeniería Civil en Informática at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María from 2009 to 2015, where he also held teaching assistant positions in databases and the computing laboratory. He completed a secondary technical qualification in electronics at Colegio Diego Echeverría Castro.
