Dieter Velpen

Dieter Velpen is the founder of Construct3d, which he started in March 2021, and is based in Antwerp. Since October 2022 he has also been a project manager at Urbion.

Earlier in his career he worked as a project leader at Stephex Group from January to September 2022, and as a project manager at Aura Estates Group from September 2019 to December 2021. He was a product engineer at ams AG between April and August 2019. From August 2017 to March 2019 he was an employeneur at TMC, and over the same period he worked at imec as a process development engineer for OLED applications.

Velpen studied at KU Leuven, where he completed a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and material sciences in 2015 and an engineer's degree in nanotechnology in 2017. He began an Executive MBA in business administration and management at Flanders Business School - FBS in November 2022, running to June 2025. He attended Jan Van Ruusbroekkollege for his high school degree in science and mathematics.
