
Dimitri Arendt
Dimitri Arendt is a co-founder and managing director of Volt-R, a role he took up in November 2025, and the founder of ANTwork, which he started in October 2016. He is based in Liège.
Arendt began his career with an internship in the test and instrumentation department at Techspace Aero in 2004. He joined Thales Belgium in November 2005 as an R&D system engineer, became a project manager there in November 2009, and returned to the company from December 2020 to May 2024 as head of engineering. Between those periods at Thales he was lead controls engineer at Punch Powertrain from 2012 to 2014 and chief technology officer at Fleye from 2014 to 2016. He was also a teaching assistant at the University of Liège from September 2016 to September 2017.
He studied at the University of Liège, where he completed a Master of Science in electro-mechanical (aerospatial) engineering between 2000 and 2005.
