Dimitri Debruyne
Dimitri Debruyne is a co-founder of MatchID - Metrology beyond colors, a position he has held since May 2015. He is based in Gent. Since April 2007 he has also been managing director of Indurium Engineering Services.
Between March 2009 and September 2021 he was a professor at KU Leuven, having previously lectured at KAHO Sint-Lieven from October 2002 to February 2009. He began his career at Ghent University, where he was a PhD researcher from October 1997 to September 2001 and then a postdoctoral researcher until September 2002.
He studied at Ghent University throughout, completing a Master of Science in Engineering, Applied Physics, in 1997 and a PhD in Engineering, Applied Physics, in 2001. He later obtained a certificate in assessment techniques there between 2010 and 2011.
