
Dimitri Pirnay is a co-founder and managing partner of onebonsai, based in Brussels. He co-founded the company in November 2015 and has also served as its director of strategy, product and innovation.
Before that, he founded NorthStone and was its chief executive from January 2013 to September 2015. From September 2011 to September 2013 he worked as a bio-informatics researcher at inSilico DB, and in 2009 he spent nine months as a physics engineer and researcher at the OPERA lab of the Faculty of Applied Science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
He studied at the Université libre de Bruxelles, completing a master in civil engineering in engineering physics and applied physics at the Brussels School of Engineering between 2007 and 2012, and a master in civil engineering, business administration and management between 2011 and 2013. He obtained his baccalauréat in science and physics at the Lycée Français Jean Monnet de Bruxelles in 2007.
