Dries Maerten
Dries Maerten is the founder and managing director of Conics, a position he has held since September 2017. He is based in Brugge. Since January 2017 he has also been zaakvoerder of Nokratez, and between January 2017 and June 2018 he worked as interim data manager at MANUMIXX NV by AMINOLABS GROUP.
Maerten began his career with an internship at Athena Graphics in 2007, before joining Matexi Group as a process analyst in August 2007 and then as marketing manager from November 2009 to September 2010. He returned to Athena Graphics as operations manager from September 2010 to December 2016.
He studied at Sint-Janscollege, where he followed Latin and mathematics, and obtained a Master in Applied Economics from Ghent University between 2001 and 2006, followed by a year at Vlerick Business School from 2006 to 2007.
