Dries Maertens
Dries Maertens is the founder and lead software engineer of Codingi, which he started in April 2022. He is based in Gent, and states expertise in Ruby on Rails, Python, artificial intelligence, web application development and machine learning.
Before founding Codingi, he was lead software engineer at Optioryx from August 2021 to March 2022.
He studied computer science engineering at Ghent University, completing a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree in August 2016. From September 2025 to July 2026 he is enrolled in a professional program in artificial intelligence at Stanford University.
