Dries Vleeschauwer
Dries Vleeschauwer is the owner of Corbit, a role he has held since January 2013. He is based in Gent.
Between November 2017 and November 2021 he worked as a data analyst on four short assignments for the European Union Election Obervation Mission, in late 2017, spring 2018, late 2019 and autumn 2021.
Before taking up his role at Corbit, he worked in software development at Adhese from December 2008 to December 2012. From January 2000 to September 2010 he worked in IT and statistics at Ghent University, and from 1998 to 2000 he was a software engineer at Siemens. Earlier, between 1995 and 1998, he was an assistant professor at Ghent University.
He studied bio-engineering at Ghent University, completing a master's degree in 1995, after following the Latin-mathematics track at St-Lievenscollege from 1984 to 1990.
