Ed Dl

Ed Dl is CEO of Attenborough Medical, based in Nottingham. He has held that role since June 2015, with a further Attenborough Medical CEO record beginning in March 2023, and he is also CEO of Attenborough Direct, which he has led since May 2001, and of Attenborough Dental and Attenborough Brush, both since September 1997. Since March 2018 he has been a postgraduate lecturer in dental technology and digital dentistry at the City of London Dental School.

He was president of the Association of Dental Dealers in Europe from 2012 to 2022 and president of the British Dental Industry Association from 2004 to 2012. He sat on the Knowledge Transfer Network steering committee for its Dentistry Special Interest Group between 2009 and 2012, on the Education Committee of the General Dental Council from 2007 to 2009, and was a director of The Dental Laboratories Association Ltd from 2002 to 2009.

Earlier he worked as a software consultant at NatWest Markets, Siemens, Thales Alenia Space Antwerp, the European Space Agency and Diehl Defence, and began his career at Marconi PLC as a software engineer and later as an SASD/OOD consultant. He studied electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Leeds from 1986 to 1989, after attending Uppingham School.
