Overview
Edgard Vermeersch studied Commercial Sciences at EHSAL Brussels and completed a master in IT Systems Management at Ghent University. He worked as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers until late 2002, then founded Itineris in early 2003. The company developed UMAX, a cloud-based customer information system and CRM solution tailored for energy and water utilities. Itineris attracted investment from PMV, Gimv, Smartfin, FPIM, and Alychlo (Marc Coucke), growing to more than 550 employees with offices in Belgium, the UK, and North America.
