Elisa Stefanini

Elisa Stefanini is CTO and co-founder of exsensia, a company she co-founded in July 2024. She is based in Milan.

From November 2020 to July 2024 she pursued a Ph.D. in Robotics and Automation at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, during which she spent a sabbatical as a Ph.D. student at Bosch Research between September 2023 and January 2024. Before that she held a scholarship at Proxima Robotics srl in 2020, and earlier that year completed her master's thesis at Sigma Ingegneria. In 2018 she undertook an internship at the Örebro University School of Business, and between 2015 and 2017 she was an instructor at Fablab Makerspace Creiamo in 3D.

She studied at the Università di Pisa, taking a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from 2013 to 2017 and a master's degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering from 2017 to 2020. She attended Liceo Scientifico F. Buonarroti from 2008 to 2013.
