Emilie Verhamme
Emilie Verhamme is the founder of Gentlee, which she started in April 2025. She is based in Gent.
Her studies span law and the arts. She took a bachelor's degree in law at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles from 2005 to 2008 and a master's degree in law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 2008 to 2010. She studied audiovisual arts at Sint-Lukas Brussel between 2009 and 2011, and film, cinema and video studies at the Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle et des techniques de diffusion (INSAS) in 2012 and 2013. From 2019 to 2020 she completed a Master of Arts in creative writing at the Université libre de Bruxelles.
