Erik Groes

Erik Groes is a director and owner of Grounds Up, based in Temse, a role he has held since March 2023. He has been CEO and owner of Pivaco since January 2008, and holds a number of concurrent directorships: external director at Van de Velde Pipe Inspections & Solutions since July 2022, director and co-owner of FLYWEL since October 2021, director and owner of Powerstation since January 2021, of FOLLAETS PAINTING since November 2020, and of ForGrowth - Enterprise software since March 2020.

Earlier roles include CEO and director of Elektrotechniek Van Hecke from December 2021 to June 2025, director and co-owner of C-guard from June 2020 to September 2025, a seat on the board of Cordeel Group from January 2021 to December 2024, and CEO and director of Imtech from 2019 to June 2025.

Groes studied mechanical and automotive subjects at PTS Boom from 1989 to 1996, and later followed programmes at Vlerick Business School in KMO Excellence and KMO Management (2011-2012), negotiation as value creation (2014) and acquisitions (2018).
