Erik Klewais
Erik Klewais is the founder of mbarq and is based in Leuven. He has been a managing partner at MbarQ since March 2022.
Before that he was Data & AI Manager at Fednot from January 2019 to February 2022. He spent the preceding decades at VDAB, which he joined as a data analyst in January 1991. There he worked as a BI developer from 2000 to 2006 and as an Oracle programmer analyst from 2006 to 2007, then as technical project leader for the data warehouse until June 2012 and as data architect until March 2013. From April 2013 to December 2015 he was technical project lead for the VDAB Innovation Lab, and from January 2016 to December 2018 he was Analytics and AI Manager.
Klewais studied political sciences at KU Leuven, completing a master's degree in 1986, after secondary education in science at KNT - VIA Tienen.
