Erik Vanherck

Erik Vanherck is Chief Technology Officer of Banqup Group, a role he took up in August 2025. He is based in Nijlen. Since January 2024 he has also been co-founder and CTO of Aurify.

Before joining Banqup Group he spent five years at Unifiedpost Group, which he joined in January 2020 as Product Architect, going on to work as Architect and Technical Project Manager from July 2020 and as Chief Architect from December 2022 until August 2025.

He began his career at Inventive Designers in August 2001 as a system programmer and designer, and remained with the company until January 2020, holding the positions of Product Delivery Manager from December 2005, Product Delivery and IT Manager from July 2012, Product Architect from February 2015 and Chief Architect from October 2018.

Vanherck studied computer science at the University of Antwerp, taking a kandidaat at RUCA between 1996 and 1999 and a licentiaat between 1999 and 2001.
