Esther Laga
Esther Laga is the founder of Hitch-tools, a company she started in February 2020, and is based in Gent.
Between January 2022 and April 2025 she worked as a concept developer at Labland vzw, and from March 2021 to April 2025 she was a public assistant at Design Museum Gent. Earlier, she worked as an interior architect at A Better Blend and at byANOUK, both from late 2018 into January 2019. She was a bartender at Mòris from December 2017 to September 2019, and spent the summer of 2016 as a design assistant at Design Is Wolf.
Laga studied interior design at KASK en Conservatorium / HOGENT en howest, completing a Bachelor of Arts in 2018, followed by a postgraduate programme in Brand & Packaging Design at LUCA School of Arts from 2019 to 2020. She took a Master of Architecture in interior architecture at KU Leuven from 2020 to 2022, and a Master of Architecture in interior architecture at the University of Antwerp from 2021 to 2022.
