Evelyn Verlinde
Evelyn Verlinde is the CEO of leadlife, a role she took up in January 2026. She is based in Nazareth. She joined leadlife as Head of Science in June 2021, a position she held until July 2025, and served as Co-CEO from March 2025 until becoming CEO. Since September 2019 she has also been a Scientific Health Expert at emma.health.
Earlier, Verlinde was a Scientific Expert at Healthitude from September 2018 to March 2022, and a lecturer and researcher at Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen from November 2012 to July 2022. Between September 2008 and October 2012 she was a PhD student at Ghent University -Department of Family Medicine and Primary Health Care, and from September 2008 to December 2011 she worked as a researcher at Steunpunt Welzijn, Volksgezondheid en Gezin.
She studied medicine at KU Leuven, holds a master's degree and a PhD in life science and medicine from Ghent University, and completed an MBA at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management in October 2023.
